Seems to me minimal equipment list is longer now.
I cant find Euro-5 truck w.o disk brakes, EBS, ESP, ECAS and other new stuff -
I have question for NA members,
how does your law define curb weight of a tractor?
Here it is complete truck to work, with 75kg driver, 90% of tanks full, tolls, spare wheel, and everything for work.... incl 5th wheel.
I am trying to understand USA definition about it....
found this, it says full tank, no driver. I wonder if this is correct? how about 5th wheelč?

Driver is not figured in at all.....
And the wieght they put on the build sheet is a fantasy . It has to be mt of fuel at least...98989 Thanks this. -
Dry weight without driver, spare wheel not common.

I am trying to find out how exactly was Scania heavy in USA;
CCJ magazine tested T112MU in 1988 ,
-176inch wheelbase ,
-13230lb front axle,
-38140 rears,
-sleeper cab,
-full air spoilers,
-2x 72gallon fuel tanks
-Alcoa wheels
-GCW 154 000lbs
this was test in magazine, and some people from trucking companies were evaluating truck , they say 17230lbs , 54720lbs gross, loaded with 24200lbs,
so this 17230 looks quite right,Last edited: Feb 27, 2016
