wide cab is a good thing and bad thing.... Volvo interior is specific, someone loves, someone not...

about good things of EU wide cab...: you feel how wide is your truck, when you do backing and you want to see what's going on not with rear view mirror you can see it with your eyes... and if you look out from US truck you can see sleeper only.

About things you can reach from driver's seat. Volvo is not only one European truck.

I like Mercedes interior (we can see too many Mercedes features in Freightliner trucks), all things are easy to get from driver's seat.

Yep, cab is wide and you cant toch passenger if you are belter...

    in holland everything steers

    look

trailer floor above last and above first axle

and look mudguards on both axles

those on last axle have lot more space , i also think that it cant steers too much because of stability but i think it steers

    maybe active

It don't steers much about 30 degrees. I will ask a friends brother, because he works there.
That company is about a mile from my home.

New photo found. I think's it steers active.

i also think it must be active

because passive would be unstable at higher speeds and active would be nice if it is blocked at higher speeds

also trailers can have max 50% of self steerable axles but i think it refers only if there are at least 2 fixed

if it is active please ask him what gives signal about angle for steering

    and ask about stability

and does he have problems with long tail on trailer ( when cornering )

I wouldn't mind having steerable trailer axles at all but I'm sure they'd overcharge a fortune for them here.

Yes indeed. I'd be happy to have just a tri axle drop deck with a bit of steering on it to weasel in and out of places that are annoying to fit through. Would certainly make parking at the J easier.
