I thought Rheinmetall is a Tank Gun maker?

If you want trucks, take a look at Oskosh in WI. They like to crank out military ones. I think Hummers are being retired pernamently now and replaced by the future Joint Light Vehicle for all services as I write this. Be about 10,000 of them to the lucky workers up there to build. Arkansas #### near won that contract but WI underbid us a little bit.

The SX indeed has a much better of-road capability, and as far as I know the chassis of the SX is less flexible than that of the HX. That is perfect for certain applications.

So basically that MAN is front pair axle driven. There is nothing on the rear set... Unless you think about either hydrulic or electric power or both.

Rheinmetal produces all kind of military equipment, including tanks, cannons, rifles, and trucks. The trucks were originally designed by MAN, and are still made in cooperation with MAN.

I looked at the Joint Light Vehicle, it seems the design was made for a kind of Mad Max film from a Hollywood studio.

This is a similar German design:

A bit cleaner I would say.

No, these are 8x8 vehicles. I suppose the driveshaft is hidden by the chassis. These trucks are build as 4x4, 6x6, 8x8 and 10x10.

Nice trucks, but these companies are no longer in business as I noticed.
A company like Faun built similar trucks.

These days Titan is left for very heavy tractors, like this Titan Z 64 609 F 8x8. Two 26,000 lbs front axles and two 44,000 lbs rear axles. 600HP, and meant for a 1000ton GVW.

I've seen that truck in real life. Parked beside Highway 16 in Edson.
