You understand it wrong. Modern cabovers are only used in specific applications such as trash trucks. The "very popular" cabovers are 20 to 30 thirty years old. There is no modern equivalent of a k100 or 362 pete.

Oxbow and Bean Jr. Thank this.

You get it! That's the nice thing. Everything looked better then than it does today. That's why Ford redesigned the Mustang so it looks like the original. Chevy did the same thing with the Camaro. and Dodge with the Challenger! New looking is not necessarily better. Which is better looking, this,

In every case, the first image is better looking. Does it make it better? No, but a 2016 W900 doesn't have components from 1947 (you meant 70 years). Our new trucks are styled better, and with all the manufacturers being controlled by European companies or having partnerships wuth foreign companies, the components are similar.
The European rig best serves the European needs, style be darned and the NA truck best serves US and Canadian needs, whether you like it or not.

    Look for Kenworth K270, K370, Peterbilt 220.

They're not class 8. They are not used as tractors, rather city deliveries. Completely different set of drivers. I'm guessing those drivers only care that it is comfortable.

Well, then perhaps European manufacturers should start building trucks like this gain, and you would by them:

Ah, and why should the conventionals not be comfortable? Perhaps it is manoeuvrability these drivers are after? Besides that, I did mention they were small cabovers.

Setting the axle forward would be a start, but that isn't functional there. I throw my hands up! What can be done to your trucks so they don't look like they fell out of an ugly tree, and hit every branch on the way down?

Exactly. Might as well try to compare a corvette to a class 8.
