Interesting, can you give us some examples?

Of course trucks specs can be different in European areas too. If the trucks is used in mountainous areas, it will have an intarder. You don't need that when the countryside is almost flat.

yes of course that different markets need different solutions....

but specs can be adjusted ,
EU trucks are available pretty much everywhere except NA and you can see them operating in -50 and +50C in some really extreme places, from bolivian mountains, arctic cold, saharan heat, those are pretty much same trucks except few details like oil type, fan gear ratio, batter heating/cooling, fuel tank water separator, heated fuel lines, extra heating for cab or similar

one company from my country worked in sahara in libia-before they got democracy , when war started they bring those trucks here and now work here , strange they still have arabian letters on trucks

Sounds to me like you all don't mind being all lumped into the same box. We prefer to be more of an individual. You will find some that will flock together like sheep but you will find many that would never be anything but an individual in personality and how their truck is set up. Even drivers, hauling the same freight will have different specs to fit their needs.

And whatever makes you think that European truckers can't pimp their trucks in a similar way? They do, and certainly if they have their own small company.

No not suggesting that at all. I've seen some custom stuff from over there before.
