Why do so many Americans hate European trucks?

    here you dont replace it, you need to fill it, works every hour or 1.5h or whatever you want on ca. 5mins. on old truck it become problem with grease lines, they get plastic or melted if close to engine/brakes because of age so you need from time to time replace few of them.

    they need much less grease than manual lubrication, can be tricky with front axles....many years ago when we first bough trucks with ALC, many people fill inside grease for manual lubrication which is too dense and it stuck on front axle lines, brother of my father had to replace two front axles on trucks because of that , that was in 1985, my father use.

    my father fills EP5 grease, tipper body is too on ALC. only manual are driveshafts, trow bearing, and front cab suspension

    Except for Fuso (which is Daimler of course), there are no Japanese trucks in EU.

    Kinda miss those shiny red Western Stars. They stood out a mile away.

    there is isuzu, something similar to fuso, there was hino before in uk and ir, dont know if they are still working, torque was very low about 75-80% of our for same hp, and cabs were very small
