The cat offering may have not been electronic, but the series 60 was available at that time and was used in a few of them.

To start with, EU trucks never looked like that. European COE trucks always looked very different front their NA COE counterparts.

Then I must say it is very funny when you mention "ancient looking EU trucks". NA manufacturers sell trucks that very much resemble the ones they sold 70 years ago, you will not find that in Europe.

I don't understand why this thread has legs. Simple question, why? Simple answer, because x,y,z. Response, but you should because of a,b,c. We respond that a,b,c don't apply this side of the pond. Next response should have been "thanks for the answer" and finish.
But this thread's Scottied67 keeps it going!

To answer this latest diversion of why aren't there NA trucks in these races dominated by European trucks the answer is simple. What wins on Sunday, sells on Monday. All of the NA truck manufacturers are part of international conglomerates. In Europe and former colonies, they have decided to market the truck that is best suited to the needs, and not waste time with nocturnal fantasies of introducing brands that have not traditionally sold there.
Why don't you ask why Volvo doesn't sell its European model here? Why doesn't Daimler sell Mercedes trucks here? Because the style and needs are different, so they offer what sells. Likewise, they race only what sells.

Great answer, if it wasn't for the fact that most trucks are not factory trucks. The trucks are owned by transport companies, and heavily sponsored by all kind of companies. The truck manufacturers may give assistence, but that's about it.

Guess what pal! None of the auto makers here field cars in any races either! They may sponsor them, they may provide engines, as far as I know Chevrolet, nor Ford own any racing team. Yet theit involvement is based on that adage.

The same with your races. The manufacturers do research behind the scenes so whatever truck crosses the finish line first, it will bear their marquee.

I think some of you guys need to realize Caesars really just trolling.

Drum brakes are far superior than disc brakes.
