Ok , I want 15 brand new of that model ! Make it happen , you can not they stopped making them , they were not practical in your market . Just proves what I have said the whole time !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Your laws stink , but it is the laws you have to follow . We do not have as silly as laws . Thus the freedom to drive what we like , and not FORCED to do what YOU think .

Yes Mr. Daniel, this issue has been discussed many times. The front axle of a NA/AUS cabover is exactly under the doors. In order to get in you have to climb up next to the door, and then swing yourself in, or in newer trucks use that staircase. I've seen that staircase on Australian trucks. With an EU truck the front axle is more to the rear, so it is much easier to get into the cab. A side effect of the EU system is that the weight of the engine and the transmission are almost entirely on the front axle, meaning more weight on the front axle then with a NA/AUS cabover.

Look again. Its not as big as the photos make it appear. It's certainly better than the typical fleet specced cascadia. It's just not the huge top of the line luxurious canon caesar thinks it is. Set it next to a 144 ARI and its a tiny shoe box.

Can i get it with a hood? Just thinking about adjusting the valves on that makes my neck and shoulder hurt. That's the true benefit of a hood, and why i will never have another cabover or short hood truck. Ease of access to that engine trumps all else.

Wow, after we have explained numerous times why EU sleepers are as small as they are, you have said it numerous times, as if we didn't know. The laws don't stink, the laws that determine the maximum overall length of a semi are there to make it possible that these trucks can be used in European circumstances. Let me quote an American journalist on this:

So if you want to use a huge NA tractor over here, you can. But only with a very short trailer.

Long hoods, blah! I'd take a standard hood W9 or Pete over a long hood version any day.

So basically what you're saying is European cities are old and need to be modernized?

    Bean Jr. Thanks this.
