Why do so many Americans hate European trucks?

    Perhaps it is time to use metric / ISO standards? Even the British are changing to metres, litres etc.

    Who are owned by Fiat. So your point is what? If it is wrong , it is wrong no matter who is doing it.

    So in the US there are two different miles, and the definition of the international mile is already based on the metre.

    Now of course you would like to know what the definition of 1 metre is.

    I make calculation based on us gallons and i do it this way

    Fuel consumption in L/100km devided by 0.62 than devided by 3.78 devided by 100 than exp -1

    That would make lot of problems , engineers would need years to adopt themselves to metric , especially would be difficult to get old drawings to metrics

    Imagine how many toolsyou will need to change different

    Workers would have problem with perception of metric system

    Altroug us system is not logical conversion to metric would.slow down country
