I watched to the end, and then I figured out why he kept saying Detroyett. It's clear why.

 

I didnt watch it. So help me out. Why is it clear he couldn't pronounce detroit correctly?

Holy sh## that's funny! Not all of us talk like that though eh. That's kind of an Ontario dialect he's talking in. Out west we sound different than that. Don't get me started on the East coast. I swear those Newfies just make up words as they go along.
