What to do when your tractor breaks down? Ask the boss to bring another one.

I think it's inevitable that either Paccar,Volvo, Daimler/Benz or even VW (MAN Scania) now they're in bed with Navistar will do something Like this in the next few years...

it would be big crane installed, it is easier to put it on real frame instead on subframe and central tube

we should remember some strange mix of extended volvo FH1 cab on US chassis, dont know name, guess it was some kind of prototype truck.

this is destiny of every try to bring modern COE there. also we should note that in 90s there were more money for those ideas, than today.

dont know who is author of photos, i have tried to find them online instead of uploading them, but photobucket become XXXX so plenty of interesing photos are lost

Tatra...ahhh... what a junk it was.. we had few of them at copper pit mine in SU. air cooled engines from 50s. that was in late 80's. they keep overheating. tatra sent an engineer to us to check the trucks. conclusion was overheating because of low operational speed. not enough air flow to cool engines... btw that engineer was a blond lady with long legs and beautiful face. sex bomb.

that is correct, many road construction companies had them till 90s, in my hometown in bosnia, they used them for winterservice, no other truck could do that, they had other trucks for normal terrain, tatra for worst places....today no longer serious snow, no snowblowers, no tatra, just orinary mp3 and Tgs 6x6 , and 20-30 tonnes excavators

till end of 90s they were like that, than they started to develop them, introduced air suspension with ecas....tatra even have e5/epa2007 air cooled engine, few years ago they adopt DAF components, so now they use Daf CF cab, Daf MX13 engines, and ZF gearboxes.
now only one company own them , they make worst kind of offroading

hm from my experince when visiting czech and with their tourists here, they are nothing special, far worst than ours and extremly easy.
czech adult industry is quite developed and when talking about czech first 3 things you get in head is beer, movies and easy girls

btw there is one with cat325c and lot of mp2 4144 k 8x6

Extending an existing cab isn't very expensive. There is a company in the Netherlands that can do that with any EU cab. That makes it so attractive. Just suppose Paccar wanted to produce a COE truck in the US, and start from scratch. That would be extremely expensive. If they would take the DAF cab and extend that, it would be a relatively cheap solution. Paccar Europe could produce the cabs, just as Renault is producing basically the same cab for Renault, Volvo, DAF, Kenworth and Peterbilt light trucks.
