Somehow I must have missed that Germany won the second world war, and that Alabama and South Carolima are now part of the German Federal Republic.

 

You're absolutely right, a SUV coupé is about the most ridiculous contraption on four wheels. I think BMW started with these things. Most SUVs are rather silly contraptions, they look like four wheel drives, but most of them only have two wheel drive. In wintertime you see them with both wheels (with summer tyres of course) spinning. I would rather have some VW, Audi, Seat or Skoda with four wheel drive (4-motion), that is useful.

 

Well at least you two are consistent in your dislike of vehicles with anything bigger than a shoebox cabin.

Personally i dont need large car, i spend 1hour per day in car so it does not to be large. I never carry any stuff, or ride anyone , i could be perfect user of motorbike, except i cant get licence for it.
Suv is pointless for me, crossover even worst, minivan even worst, also find pickup useless for most people that use it.
For people that needs terrain vrhicle go for land cruiser,g klasse, or something else in class.

If i would need larger vehicle, it would be mb mixto, you can register it as cargo van,get rid of tax on it, dont pay tax for lexury, use it as primary tool for your bussiness so in account it will pay off and help with your account, with good equipment it looks very close to v klasse. Plenty of space for 5 people, if needed can load lot of things inside....especially if you remove seats

 

Just need mirrors and door handles in color, company cars are almost always with painted, sometimes chrome strips of v klasse and without model badges, 119 sometimes 4x4

For a full family? Absolutely. For a single person i guess it's adequate.

 

My dad's crewcab Lariat has more legroom than that. And you can actually sit up in the back, not all stuffed in there.





Pickup truck is the only way to go. Owned 3 and I'll never not own one. Jack of all trades. Haul the family around, haul a load of plywood, tow the boat to the lake etc. Why be inefficient and own 2 vehicles when you can buy one that does it all?

 

Basic minivan. Good for hauling the kids around But not good for towing a boat or trailer. A full size suv can do both, haul the family around AND have the capacity to tow a decent sized trailer/boat/rv.
