you can buy it as naked chassis ( cab only) here we have ambulances on g klasse.
plus military versions, they are whole different world, 3axles available, armoured.....

I have to disappoint you, a Ford F150 is a much better off-road vehicle.

 

For serious off road i would buy a true off-road vehicle. The one and only humvee. everything else pales in comparison.
