The systems on the photos are not hydraulic, pure machanical. The first one uses steel cables, the second one a rod plus cables, and the third one rods.

g klasse have most serious offroad capabilities, portal axles, great thing for offroad, but contradictory with real use of vehicle, i guess most of them will be used just for showoff not for real terrain

Yes, you're absolutely right. Put a diesel in it instead of that stupid V8, change the interior, and you will have a perfect off-road vehicle. This one is a show piece, most likely much too fast for its undercarriage.

How do you guys measure sleeper

Is this internal length or includes rear cab wall.
Where does sleeper officially starts, behind seats, or some. Free space between seats and start of sleeper

On the 72" prostar is appears to be from the back of the door frames to the back wall.

Yes, it is a bit of an odd one. It seems to do exactly the opposite of what 'my' trailers do. Instead of swinging outwards, your axle is trying to cut corners.

I've never seen an active steer axle in the US. They all work like a pendulum and most will turn and drag when backing.

I’m curious now about the coupling mechanism of fire trucks.
