When I worked in the trailer shop (welder/mechanic) we did a drum brake reline in 1.25 hr , per wheel. IIRC.
Remove 2 wheels, linings, hardware and new drum.

S cam bushings or hub seal were extra.

Clutch on a Peterbilt is 8 man hours, 12 on a Columbia because air tanks are in the way.

This kind of truck is not a cabover, cab is in front of engine, not over it. Engine is in center of chassis for better traction. There is a clone of MZKT/MAZ fat truck - KZKT (Kurgan trucktor plant, hah, town, my GF is from LOL))))

KZKT is a bit different, its powertrain is not Byelorussian, but KTA19+Alisson tranny. It runs a bit slower, but burns less fuel.

Fifth wheel of this trucktor is for 3.5" kingpin and we used adaptors to pull US ore EU goosneck trailers. Really unusual truck.... but some surprizes - no sleeper inside))))

it is interesting to see what did they use than during war for same purposes as today

first this , i am not sure can you call this truck with ultra heavy trailer with swing axles and 8tires per line made by slovenian company Gorica(now they are largest manufacturer of trailers in Middle east)

latter 6x4 MAN f90 tractors with WSK(torque converter) and Austrian Schwarzmueller trailers with normal axles , latter 6x4 MAN tractors without WSK, currently they use IVECO 6x4 tractors with 5axle Italian Bertoja trailers trucks have 12speed automated gearbox and relatively small cursor 13L engines

I have a friend that worked at Pacific in the design and engineering department. Their motto was....

"When in doubt, make it stout "
