I think it has been established that he doesn't even drive, let alone own any truck.

 

You are so oblivious to what kind of technology is in North American trucks, he jokingly suggested that you think we still have solid tires.

 

After reading so many time about the technology you prefer, I'm waiting until one of you starts moaning about those stupid air filled tyres, and that you want those good old solid tyres back.

 

You really have no clue about north American trucks. Integral sleepers have been a thing here for 30 freaking years. curtains that go all the way around? Ya. Had those 25 years ago.

Yes drum brakes will build heat and fail going down a hill of you are a moron and ride your brakes. Butt for a driver that actually knows how to drive its not an issue.

Fyi, disc brakes can fail for the exact same reason.

You are in love with technology for technology's sake, and you think we're a bunch of ludites. As I've explained, when technology serves a purpose, it is embraced, when it is just there to make it more complicated, it is shunned.
