in recent time we get lot of logistical centers they make them in bussiness parks, and relativly close to highway exits, so in theory this could be done, but local roads to them are usually not ready , also for some idiot reasons they make really tight roundabouts at those places....now ikea opens close to my house 400.000+ sqft , they have opened largest outlet store next and some other objects , in total 9 new roundabouts , only 2 are big one , since they are all inclined on right side, this really increase tire wear.....

sweden have 24m length law for tractor-semitrailer (78ft 9˝) needs to comply with turn radius but sweden is country where would be quite simple to use one comparing to others.

dont know, this is state owned company, vehicles obviously quite old, at that time we were in yugoslavia, this means some very strange relation and seesaw between russia and US depends who give more money, so i guess they were gift. they still use this color for their new trucks.

I've heard Sweden is more conducive to our trucks and I think the Swedish folks like American vehicles more then most of Europe , they love Harley Davidsons , that's how I've met many swedes , at biker rallies . They also buy up many huge old caddilacs , they like those big old iron sleds

You assume they existed, I don't think that is the case. What we did have decades ago, were local truck owners (in villages) who transported goods to and from the next city.

There are family owned businesses with a couple of trucks, but one truck driver with his own truck is unknown.

i think this is correct, there are lot of those clubs, and events, hot rods and other things, vehicles from 50,60s are really popular. i know a guy who makes special scania cabs one of kind ones. who restore classic cars from mid of 20th cent. but i am not sure if anyone would like to use truck on everyday base.

What I assume is people are people the world over .
Why wouldn't some euro driver want his own truck to operate as he sees fit , and customize it to his likes and needs

my father is working on this way, he is dependable, aqurate, dont ask too much. they employ him even if they have 3-4 of their own trucks parked. also get better prices 30-40% than others.
here you will find many owner operators. largest fleet have 1700 trucks. other fleets are max 400 trucks, usually 100, lot of family bussiness , like father+sons+few drivers.

I have been in Europe and Russia many times. No way to drive long hood truck in EU. Ram 1500 is already to big for them I am not talking about long nose pete or western star. you need a cabover with 48 trailer to survive. Russians, Ukrainians, Georgians like American freightliner centuries and columbias with dd s60 and isx engines. there are a lot of them running cross country. In Siberia these trucks have good reputation.
