You are nit picker. You admit that Euro drivers are allowed 14 hours less per week and 44 hours less in 2 weeks than we're allowed here.

You simply do not know anything about us.

Further, the hours you Euros and we work are based on labor statistics, not his opinion. Typical work weeks here are also not 25 hours. He reported AVERAGE. Thst means on average, you guys work less than we do. Your liberal paid vacations are legend!

Guess what, I wrote several days back that Europeans work less than Americans. And if you want to know why truckers are not allowed as many hours as in the US, that has to do with the dense traffic, drivers have to be alert all he time. Somehow we don't like it if a 40 tonne truck crashes into passenger cars on the highway because the driver feel asleep.

Our trucks have electronic devices to measure your speed, and your working and resting times. And there is a new regulation, that says that during the 45 hours obligatory resting time (in one piece) every week, you are not allowed to be in your cab. You need to be in a hotel or something like that. If you do stay in the cab, the driver and the owner will pay a hefty fine. That is to prevent the modern slavery of east-european drivers.

I don't think I wrote anything about the working times of US truckers, did I?? That's the problem with a lot of you, you have hallucinations about what I wrote.
