    Again, it shows you even can't read properly. I was only referring to the trucks that look like they came of the production line 70 years ago, not about modern streamlined US trucks. But most of you don't like these either.

    He replied to my post , and stated that model started in 1959 , not quite 70 years unchanged , only 58 so I was off 2 years when is said 60 years. But like I thought it drove Platypus insane.

    I don't have time to perpetually argue with you, but the "proof" of your last statement is simply that they are not here. If they worked well here they would be here. The marketplace dictates that. And that is fact.

    Yes, these cabs are made for Chinese, and Chinese are rather small. Americans on the other hand can have rather exuberant dimensions.

    However, there is another, even more serious matter. The question is how strong these cabs are. Chines passenger cars have a rather bad reputation on this. European manufacturers do crash tests with there cabs, and make sure they are very strong and save.

    The original statement was that "What works in Europe DOES NOT WORK WELL HERE.", and when I ask all of you why not, I got the following answers;
    • They are ugly, that's matter of taste and not a technical argument.
    • The sleeper is too small, Scania had the longline sleeper, and I showed you how simple it is to extend the sleeper to a size that is comparable with US factory sleepers. So that argument has been debunked.
    • In the past someone warned for back issues, but his statemenet was based on US cab overs from decades ago, not applicable.
    If you have any other real argument, why don't you write it down.

    Meanwhile let me give you three quotes from NA drivers:
