I wouldn't buy it but it seems cheap , if it was that price here , it would sell on price alone

That and would only work with trailers designed with the landing gear moved much farther back. So day one it would be zero trailers be able to work with them. Just one small issue. But it has only been said 20 times .

Imagine driving this truck on a icy winter day , you finally stop .
Now you have to put on your mountain climbing gear to scale the frozen cliff , to get out of it .

    Oxbow Thanks this.

About 1670mm from wall to king pin that is 66inch , at cormers 1600mm, as they have to be different, our law says from king pin to corner radius 2040mm.

You can get cheap brands in my cpuntry iveco/realnault for 65-70k eur, daf at price about +/-75, man/volvo 80, mb 87 scania 95, these are most common specs for each and not comparable and reffers to stock 4x2 trucks, in world of mb you cant get below 80k no matter what you do, high end is 130k now i dont know current eur/usd ratio,

This is high end daf with lot of extra equipment and some custom equipment, daf is considered here as cheaper fleet truck. Some pages ago i have been writing about production process in USA trucks comparing to ours. Too much manual labor etc. So every time you write it is proudly made in USA(which, i see primary as something that create work for people that pay for food gas,...) actually means too much manual labor and someone needs to pay that. Since truck manufacturers need profit you are going to pay that either with high price, low quality or underdeveloped products.

Daf cab comes in 3 heights.
    That one is the tallest.
Then there is midroof and flattop.
Flattop is like the red oilfield truck.

OK, I checked the bridge law.

This is what I see for the maximum weight of just the tractor:
    • The number of axles is a factor.
    • The distance between the first (steering) axle, and the last rear axle is the other factor.
That's it, it doesn't matter how much weight there is on each individual axle, as long as that weight is within limits. For a single axle that is 20,000 lb, for a tandem axle 2 x 17,000 lb.

If we compare an EU tractor and an US tractor with the same weight (both unloaded), then it may well be that the EU tractor has 4000 lb more on the front axle, but 4000 lb less on the rear axles compared with the US tractor. However that has no influence what so ever on the bridge law.

So the conclusion is that if you have a US and a EU tractor with the same weight, and the same length between steering axle and last rear axle, they are the same for the bridge law.
