Yes i am aware of this. I am also aware they continue to pump out co2 levels far beyond what the US has in several decades. when they(and other industrial nations sick as India and Russia) bring their levels down to match our current levels then and only then do should we look at further lowering ours.

If you exhale CO2 and it's pollution , I think all environmentally conscious people should stop exhaling immediately!

You do realize that there are far more Chinese than Americans? And waiting for other until you start doing something is by far the best way to ensure nothing happens.

My doctor tells me I have to eat, seems to be healthy. Doesn't mean I have to eat loads of hamburgers and get a weight of 300 pounds.

    CO2 in the atmosphere
    Is it 40%
    Is it 4%
    Is it .4%
    Is it .04%
This tiny amount is causing the greenhouse effect , it's a crock of crapola,
The models are flawed and the scientists know it , if it is warming there is nothing we can do about it , read lord monckton

I also realize that going green destroyed our economy while we got to witness Russia, China, and India become industrial behemoths while pumping out pollutants at an unprecedented level. Where was the environmental outrage then? Screw that. I'm sick of left wing wackos expecting the United States to destroy our financial stability reaching unrealistically low emission standards. I'm willing to shoulder our portion of the burden, not ours plus Russia's China's and India's.

What those crack pots also won't tell you is that for two decades our co2 output is the lowest its been since before the industrial revolution. We started drastically reducing carbon emissions, not just in vehicles, but across all industries back in the early 80s. Since then other countries, including the arrogant Europeans have increased their output exponentially.

We are currently the 8th lowest pollution nation on the planet. Sweden and Finland are the only european nations lower than us. France, Germany, the Netherlands? All pollute more than us.

Edit to add: we are also the third highest nation when it comes to contributing to renewable energy. Germany, the only european country to make the list is at number 9. Freaking nigeria and Ethiopia contribute more to renewable energy than any European nation.

The best and worst countries in the world when it comes to air pollution and electricity use
