Why do so many Americans hate European trucks?

When I'm in a good mood my fuel consumption sucks!!

 

scania above was quite small comparing to other truck brands, new series are much more spacious. in this series scania focused more on driving possition.

of course bottom is more spacious, but we learned how to use space better, same as your manufacturers learned how to make things lighter

 

this is pointless to compare, scania had such ergonomy during 1970.
i cant even see air vent opening on doors, scania have them since 1980/81 to keep side windows dry. since 1995, scania have about 50 air vent opening in cab to distribute equal air trough all cab, this is also part of development i was writing before

Impressive. You must have been really focussed. I know what you mean.
Best I achieved in my car (focus diesel, much smaller than e220d) was 63 mpg (us gallon) over a total distance of 1140 km between refills. Most of it driving to work and back home in rush hour. 55 km trips.
Not easy, never managed again.
Lifetime average is 53 mpg over 113000 km.

Not sure what you mean when you write "i can achieve 100% economy efficiency even in city"

 

i have almost bought electric car last week, brandnw(jan/18) in half of price, with good finan. package i have i would earn on it after 9months. having fixed costs, no maintanance/tires at about 1/2 of my regular costs i would lose nothing, i have good source of power at home so no problem with charging., car would suit my needs, for longer trips i would swap car from someone in family so this part is ok. i quit because i would need another car to own for 3 months per year, having 2nd car would make me parking problems, extra care, extra registration, tires, maintanance, value drop so i quit. it must be max 9months otherwise i would lose significantly

 

OK, now I understand.
Ford use something that looks like small flowers. 3 flowers, 1 for anticipating, 1 for speed, and 1 for gearshifts. 5 petals/leaves per flower. The more petals or leaves are highlighted, the better.

Always have 5 on all 3 flowers.

A lot of my driving is in heavy traffic, I try to stay in right lane with trucks at constant speed.
Left lane is continuously accelerating-braking-accelerating-braking.
Cars overtake me all the time and few minutes they are stopped in left lane, and I just drive by.
Few minutes later they fly by again, just to be heavy on the brakes 1 or 2 km later.

In the end they only gain 1 or 2 minutes over the same distance.

 

they have acceleration,constant, coasting

always do same, more relaxing, safer, faster and easier on clutch since i am using manual

especially do that during tourist season, drivers from germany brake too much and cause those traffic jams.

i always overtake cars trough tank stations, rest areas and exists
