Getting the thread back on track. This is what a sleeper truck is supposed to be. Only negative is it doesn't have a hood. 15157033157902139617137.jpg

Just go tandem drive like this. I've got a picture somewhere of me standing in front of this truck nearly 25 years ago.

In Europe a Dutchman has found a solution for this problem, he's building a new generation of mining trucks:

It runs on batteries, and there's even a wheel loader!

I've never seen such a type of small truck. What is its purpose, just to use it in winter as a snow plough etc? We would use a farm tractor for the type of work this truck seems to be targeted at. And a price of $200,000 is ridiculous for such a contraption.

Most of winterservice trucks here are 2 axle 4x4, go where 3axle cant.

    Price is ridiculous

Farm tractor, even largest can take max 1.5m3 of salt and 500L liquid. 2axle 4x4 chassis can take 5.5m3 salt and 1300L liquid.
Large unimog without platform take 5m3 .

Only benefit of tractor are work hours as many countries dont allow winterservice trucks/umimog to drive above normal time while tractor can
