Vw wants man as cheap brand, it is not matter what man wants.

Efficency does not have much to do with v8 in most cases since euro6.however scr only are lot improved

Yes it was one of worst engines ever made

    Yes, I'm fine thank you.

I was in an 'orange' area, the 'red' area was more to the south.
It was a very heavy storm that lasted for about six hours. Amsterdam airport was closed for 45 minutes, many flights were cancelled, and many others seriously delayed. Other flights were diverted, we got two KLM flights to our small local airport.
There is quite some damage, I guess somewhere between $100 and $200 million. Roofs were blown off, trees were blown over, a river ferry was blown away with cars on board.
Of course, there were those stupid truckers that got on the road with empty trucks and were blown over, 66 in total. I saw some news clips with semis driving on full speed, then a gust of wind gets them, and they fall on their side and slide many yards over the highway.
The heroes of the day were the rail roads. All main lines are electrified, and trees had broken the overhead wires. Plus, there was all kind of debris on the rails. So from about 11.00 AM all train traffic stopped, but late that evening almost all trains were running again, and they were able to get all passengers home.
We have a central control room for all highways in the Netherlands, and the (new) minister went there to see for herself how the highway authority was coping. It went very well.

I'll try to find some clips, and post them.

    Oxbow Thanks this.
