Can't tell you, but the emissions are checked every year, so I suppose they will be ok. If you studied the table I published a short while ago, you will see that the emission laws are not relaxed at all. We also check for the number of particles in the emissions, something you don't do.

Only thing checked is opacity in a snap test. Doesn't mean much. And easy to cheat for any tuner.

How about NOx? Particle Mass and numbers?

Don't know how it is now, but there is certainly a tendency to make the tests far more stringent.

And you know this because you have put your truck through many of these tests? If not, how can you make such a statement?

I can make the statement that I don't know, because the government website that exactly specifies what tests are done is off line for some reason.
The tendency to make the tests far more stringent is caused by motions of the European Parliament (and others). It has asked the European Commission ('government') to further decrease the emissions, and to take measures that the tests to check the emissions will be far more stringent.

Don't know what you are trying to say, but there are tests for a type approval, and yearly tests for each truck (or car).

Wonderful, that is a 4 year old report. The Euro 7 standard isn't even mentioned there, but it is going to have rules on the CO2 emissions, translated, fuel consumption. The second generation DAF Euro 6 trucks (summer 2017) showed a reduction in fuel consumption of 7%. In 2022 EU trucks can be 50 cm longer, it will be used to streamline the front of the trucks. Since many US truck engines are actually developed in Europe, the whole story makes no sense.

Because distorting facts to fit his narrative is what he does.
