twice per week, i play my mom's Power Ball numbers. she has a "set" of numbers. She did not play them for Saturday night. had she did, she would have won a whopping.....$5.00.............

that's after, paying $9.00 for the "set" of numbers however...~~~~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!~~~~

Yep, I knew folks that were happy to win 20$ from a scratch off. ...they forgot how much they put into the machine to get that ticket as soon as they won though.

My grandfather had a point, and later in life I get it... "The lottery is a tax for the poor and stupid."

 

what has galled me about the lottery, is that we have had "million dollar winners"......

when the Power ball goes into the stratosphere, they BUY LOT's of tickets. one guy was interviewed and said, "you can never have too much"...to me, once you win "millions" you ought to be denied any more lottery winnings, i mean after all for Christ sakes, you already got more money than you ever had, give someone else a chance to win...~~~~!!!!!!!!!!!~~~~

 

Except here's the thing, the folks that win often enough don't have the brains to make it last!

Was some idiot in the paper, he loaned out 100k to a friend. ...the guy expected it back... There's a reason his friend didn't go to a bank... They'll actually force you to pay it back!

Another person went and got more tickets... No joke. Went and got a vending machine full of those scratch offs. (Won a couple thousand there. Not a full million.)

Stick it in the bank, keep working (but change to a job you can afford to not be paid much yet enjoy) and live off the interest.
