WHY DO SO MANY DRIVERS HATE APU'S and Inverters on trucks

    I personally never needed, or wanted a APU or inverter. My 12 volt Igloo kept food cold, and it would have to be very cold out for me to idle the engine anyways. Hot areas were a different situation. If I had a load to a hot area, I would be all over dispatch for a pre-planned load to get moving fast. It usually worked out fine.
