Why do some trucks have the red Fmcsa inspection sticker, and some don't? Kind of a stupid question I'm sure....

I see them all the time... they are very "official" looking, not filled out by hand like a yearly inspection sticker.. I'm also glad that I'm not the only one wondering this!!

    gravelhauler Thanks this.

So this sticker is just an annual self inspection sticker, just like the annual dot inspection stickers we have always used?
