Why do some trucks have fmcsa and some don't?

J J Keller sells annnual inspection stickers that are thin aluminum and you can type the truck info on them so the look like a spec plate.

Yep, just an annual inspection. It makes no difference what the sticker looks like, as long as it has the right info. Prior to leasing to a company that says it must be visible, my annual inspections were on the inside of the sidebox door. It kept the marker from fading in the sunlight.

do you mean if I have my NY state inspection I don't need the fed??

do I still need need the dot inspection?? or is that the fed, Im a little lost..
