And I do. 100% elogs.. and I get miles.

Tune back to my previous posts. I said I could maintain over 3000 a week if I chose not to go home on the weekend. However I have got 3000 in a week and still made it home for the weekend.

Go to Link America Good thread and you will see anj doing his thing. Even though the other guys are always breaking down. He runs regional and they have a lot of dh so dude is getting the miles he is not OTR like us. So if you get a new truck at link you can make it but if you like shaggy and the other guys good luck with 2,000 miles per week.

What a pissing contest! The fact is, no one runs completely legal, even on elogs. Too many job related tasks are accomplished off-duty at the shipper/reciever.

And while you can run good miles on elogs, as some companies have got their junk together, if you read around on here, there are far more cases of the driver taking a hit because the company isn't being efficient in their planning.

And just for the record, I was running on Cadec, an electronic log, in 1989 when most of you hadn't yet learned to spell 'truck.'

that is funny-i don't care who you are! you think that qualcom and elog might be doing a little more than monitoring mileage there driver? I have no experience w/elog,never will either,(used qualcom in the early 90's when it first became somewhat popular) but i can see it ruin trucking or at least produce too many negative variables if they are mandated.they certainly will not be the savior of trucking.strong point driver-

Exactly. You actually get a little more time with the e-logs. Yeah, sometimes it would be nice to drive an extra 15 minutes or so to get to a truck stop a few more miles down the road, but you just deal with it.

Well you e-loggers keep sleeping anywhere but the truck stop. Just be careful should you have to crap in the bushes.

I went over yesterday on my E-logs by 2 mins whoop the doo. U run out of hours at a customer and have to leave property u just send a message to safety and tell them u have to get to a safe haven. You get in an accident. It's all there no need to fudge nothing. Keeps you on your toes. E Logs are Great!! AnJ is great!! Link America is Grrrrrrreat. TReport is grrrrreat.

Hey Anj can I get a cameo in the LA Advertisement on next month's issue :).

Be safe folks and have a grrrrrrrrreat day.
