I wish my E Logs made me drive when I was tired. I had drove 5 hrs yesterday and and had I kept pushing the Elog button and It said I had 6 hrs left, but my body said. You have till you get to the flying J 10 minutes up the road till I shut down. So 11 plus hours later. I was back rolling.

I am so confused. I have been on elogs for 2 years and it never ever made me drive when I was tired. If a company decides to play babysitter that's not the elog's fault.

I believe my statement was "I see it as driver harassment" that is used as a result of the elog.

The premise BEHIND the elog is wonderful. It's how the company is using the tool that is the issue.

A mod should probably break this part of into a new thread entirely.

I feel bad your company chooses to use it that way. Seems pretty crappy to me. I hope your company is more the exception then the rule I would never drive under those conditions

As I said its Customer Service. I don't know how many times. I wish I could of been woke up by a qual com beep. Hey you didn't hear your alarm get your butt to the customer. Somebody has to pay the companies bills. We need to stop the crying and do the job you get paid to do. Its not the companies fault you can't sleep when you suppose to. They have freight to move.. ""customer"" "where is our freight that was suppose to be here at 6am" "Company"" "Well our drivers only drive when the sun is out so you will get your product when you get it" Weeks later driver gets message bring there trucks into yard. We are shutting down nobody wants us to pull their freight. hmmmmm

    sure.........

I'll remember that when I pull another 3400 or 3800 mile week running on elogs. Oh wait, that's been 3 of my last 4 with the next 2 looking to be over 3000 again.

They do it because it makes them feel better about themselves.

You'll see that a lot in this industry. There always guys and gals complaining about the dumbest stuff. Just learn to ignore it.

"Yall" talk funny over yonder in Mesa... "Yall" aint from 'round here is ya?

Sorry it always sounds ridiculous to me when people say words like Yall, but when they go out of there way to type like that as well... Too funny.

Says the dude whose need to be profane is so overwhelming he types it in Gaelic.:biggrin_2556:

And because some of you missed it being pointed out earlier, supertrucker is not a term of endearment.
