Really is a corporate thing. School part doesn't care about anything, just getting you in the door and try and teach you to operate a big truck and collect their check from other part of company. Now other part doesn't want to hire dirtbag so they do a background and get rid of the undesirables. Regardless, big company still makes money.
why do they do a background check after you finish school?

They spend money to get you a bus ticket, plane or a rental car and put you in a hotel and you know you can't pass a drug test but waste their time anyway. Smart move on the company for covering themselves for that. I'm sure hundreds of people get sent home every month just for that reason trying to sneak by knowing they use drugs.morpheus Thanks this. -
