a man told me one time that a truck driver setting in a truckstop will lie about three things. 1)how much money he makes 2) how pretty his wife is 3) how many miles he ran last week. That guy didnt lie to me did he?

The mind makes up stories all on it's own , and we believe them

Yep, if the lips are yapping one always has a story one better. I'm more of an observer in public.

I've met anywhere from the 25 year old that's been driving 30 years to a General in the Royal British Army. If you ever stand around with a bunch of trucker's the BSer will grab your shoulder to get your attention.

I'm always amazed at how many SEALs, Green Berets, and CIA agents become truck drivers.

You know you can think for yourself.

6201 miles / 70 hours = 89 mph. That guy has one fast truck! Must be a lease operator with one of them big name companies.

    Two words for you...

    Mark Twain

Read a few of his short stories, like the Jumping Frog of Calavares County, for a taste of a fine American tradition.

One man's liar is another man's entertainment.

Had a Prime driver tell me he clears $4400.00 every week in a lease truck,, not gross, but clears, Asked him to show me his settlements, but he refused, Something tells me he might be stretching the truth a little, anyone that clains to make that kind of money in a lease would gladly prove it, unless their "cough cough" are lairs

Beware of any driver who is the hero of every "story" he/she tells!
