I would be very careful about any bragging on hours/miles run. Every post here is traceable back to the sender source. If that sender has an accident a savvy attorney of an injured party might just find said braggadocio and offer it as evidence. Sucks to be you if they're successful.
Remember, (speaking to newer drivers mostly) even if you have an accident with a dozen witnesses with dashcams proving your innocence, that savvy attorney is going to turn your log book inside out looking for any error! They'll be trying to show even the smallest discreprency that, had it been done correctly would have resulted in your not being at the accident site at the moment that texting teen blew through the stop sign and ran under your trailer killing all five people in her car as well as herself. Even though all evidence shows the teen totally at fault, that ambulance chasing barrister is smelling a huge payday.
Notice those bilboards that attorneys put up around the country offering their services if you've been injured by a truck. You notice they NEVER say anything about who was at fault.
It doesn't matter!!!
If you make a mistake, are blatantly cheating or anything in between, a correct log means you wouldn't have been there to be involved.
Those bottom feeding intestinal parasite attorneys have gotten rich by becoming experts on knowing what to look for and where to find it whether you're guilty or not.
When they find it, sucks to be you!
God help you if you've been on here (or anywhere else like the t/stop common areas) bragging about cheating on log books, running 6,000 miles in a week with an 89mph average to do it legal or manipulating E-logs because courts and juries surely will not.
I cringe when I see some of posts on here.Last edited: Feb 27, 2014

One driver on this thread (not me) has a footer that reads "I don't stop when I'm tired, I stop when I'm done."
Good luck explaining that in court.
When you post those kinds of incriminating comments you're telling them where to look!
I run honest/legal every time, all the time! No exceptions! -
Don't think there's many outlaws like their once was.I would have had a boatload of questions for that lease operator. Some ppl sure do like to tell stories.

I driver use to brag he was so tough he was the only WHITE GUY in BLACK OPS
281ric, bigtssa, Hardlyevr and 1 other person Thank this. -
It does however, blow my mind why people feel the need to lie about who they are instead of just being themselves. You can always tell who is full of it versus the ones who are genuine.bigtssa Thanks this. -

Maybe trucking attracts many sociopaths with their delusions of grandeur? I can't stand those types, everything out of their mouth is a lie.
