Why do they seem to constantly run the air compressor? No matter the age, I’ll have one park next to me and it’s worse than a reefer. Every minute or so the compressor kicks on then spits. They can’t all have air leaks. Anyone??
Why do Volvos old or new…

Volvo was also one of the first to use the plastic quick air connections. They seem to leak more as they get older. They use build trucks with copper connections and crush pressure washers or whatever it called. You could only really use them once but they would not leak. Now I think ever truck builders seem to use them. Freightliner dose anyway.

Well, to be clear, it's not the Volvo, it's the poorly maintained air dryer, and probably air leaks. Not Volvo specific.
