why does everyone seem to dislike auto trans

Someone should keep a count of how many posts in these auto transmission threads contain some form of the phrase 'my concerns are...' and the phrase 'I have never driven one'. Then we should count up how many posts contain some form of the phrase 'no concerns at all' and some form of 'I have lots of time driving them'.

Once we do that, we need to figure out why the people who make the posts in the first group can never seem to see the posts from the people in the second group. Or if they can see the posts, then we need to figure why all the people in the first group think the people in the second group are lying or are somehow misinformed or just clearly aren't competent enough to judge such things.

 

I have to deal with this often in my work, do not combat them in any way as it is total-drain and only results in heat-seeking leeches all over you from that population
