Normally I would agree with you, but we all know some smart ### that thinks it is funny to pull someones pin or bash out your tail lights. So it never hurts to stroll around in the AM and make sure it is as you left it the night before.

 

Yeah, I'm not saying I don't check for fairly obvious stuff like busted tail lights or flat tires. I'm just saying, some thing don't need to be checked in depth twice or more a day.

Working lights, properly inflated tires and fully engaged fifth wheel lock jaws are way overrated

 

How many times have you bumped your under a trailer... ouch.. a need for a hard hat ?

i dont bump it anymore.. i learned not too

 

I do my pretrip while I'm in the cab.

 

Pre trips for sure. Especially when we started pulling those FFE trailers! Heheheee
