Why Does It Take 10 to 20 Minutes to Get Through Banning?

    Banning is 3mph for loaded, 5 for empty.

    Then there's a STOP sign and warning to let scale clear before proceeding. So you could go down for violating a traffic control device, or get invited to an inspection bay for not following instructions. All you need to do is do that when Officer Ax To Grind is working.

    It's the most F up scale in The United States.

    I've done that. Heavy on the tandems, but set to communist state bridge law.

    Yeah I know banning is 3 and 5 mph. I was refering to some other states. I've seen trucks at banning at the stop sign just before entering the scale sitting there and the scale is clear. Also seen trucks with 100 ft gap in front of them. They don't understand a possible back-up onto the freeway off ramp.

    When I was 'new' I rolled over the Banning scale with my tandems all the way to the rear and somehow went unnoticed. I was 2 months in and clueless.
