Atlanta is about the worst place to move.

Lol why you say that

Check the traffic reports. Check the crime statistics. Check the median income levels. Check the average cost of living. Then you'll know why TroopertoTrucker said that!Last edited: Jun 10, 2019

I’m going to move to Alpharetta not Atlanta literally lolMrEd Thanks this.

I ran dump trucks and dump trailers in Georgia years ago, it was 64,000 lbs. for a dump truck back then. Quarries there enforce the limit and won't let you haul any more.KwBulk18 Thanks this.

So I can haul 64 with a tandem dump ? Because that’s all I see there I don’t see no tris or quads ?

Upscale area. Rare to see a dumptruck.59EX Thanks this.

I moved from Atlanta 2 years ago. I miss it sometimes. What I don't miss is the traffic (although I still have to drive in it sometimes. I drive for Millis. There's no way to avoid it altogether while driving for them) and I definitely don't miss the crime. I lived in Acworth, and even being that far away from the city, I had my pickup truck broken into 3 times in the 3 years before I moved. You couldn't turn on the TV without hearing about crime, with much of it near me. And then there's the miserable summer heat and humidity.
I remember one driver saying "I live in Atlanta but took a driving job that keeps me down around Texas until I want to go home. I hate driving in Atlanta!"
