Why don’t lifeguards get athletes foot?

I’ve gone with my wife when she gets her toes done and I kinda liked it .

little Korean lady soaked my feet in something , sanded and scraped all the dead skin off my feet , trimmed the nails , massaged my feet and legs etc

 

I don’t think I could bring myself to soak my feet in a nice bottle of Bourbon. lol…..

 

You folks gonna think im crazy , got gualded real bad in highschool during summer 2 a days . It wouldnt go away for all the on field pratice . Grandad found out thru the grapevine , gave me a call 1 evening, said get overhere boy im gonna fix you up . He had a horse on the walker that had worked up a lather . Told me to get a handfull of it and rub it into the raw spots . I thought the old man had lost it but i did as told , it burned . Next morning that #### was cured , never been gualded since .

 

What specifically is Texas toe funk? As a new Texan, I would like to know. Is this brand of toe funk native to Texas, or can it be acquired elsewhere?

Currently on vacation in Park Rapids, Minnesota with my kids and girlfriend. I’ve drank so much beer this week that it’ll fend off anything I’ll catch over the next couple years.
