Hello everyone,
why dual tires are wider than my trailer?
I recently bought a reefer with super single on it, I am not a big fan of them so I decided to switch them to dual but now you can see the tires sticking out wider than the actual trailer about two inches. Any idea about how to fix this problem.
(The trailer have super single from manufacture)
TIA

96" wide trailer with 102" wide trailer axles?

You might could just change your hubs, or your hubs have spacers installed.
The only real issue is how wide is it overall? Over 102” and you are going to have issues.77fib77 Thanks this. -
Tire shop people said nothing?
Get those super singles back, not worth the costs to swap. -
If the trailer was originally purchased with wide singles, it probably has axle ends sets for them.
The axle ends and hubs are wider than the sets used for duals.77fib77 Thanks this.
