Why GPS Voices are so Condescending

Most of the time I just say

yes dear

when she tells me what to do.

 

I have fun yelling at her because unlike with the girlfriend she doesn't yell back. She is the perfect woman you can mute her when you want. Turn her on when you want. And when your done with her you can just turn her off, walk away, or just grab her and throw her out of the way.

 

I guess I have been married too long. There are times I do not even notice it talking.

 

GPS? What's that?

 

Hubby was riding in a tow truck that had to pick him and his truck up once, and they guy's GPS had Ozzy Osborn's voice giving the directions!

 

We turned the sound off and only use the written directions because the GPS nagged so much I was yelling at it to shut up. We also named it after my sister.

 

My GPS has been called every name in the book and on the rare occasion that I use it am always yelling at it to shut up. Glad to know I'm not alone in my hatred for it!

 

I have that one on my TomTom, along with many others. Ozzie's voice is very funny but somehow doesn't inspire much confidence in the directions
