Why has it taken me so long to secure and tarp? Help!

Tell that to the mods. I've had a few posts dissappear lol.

 

So far my favorite part of getting more experience is not having to look at the securement manual for every other load.

 

Yep and having the securement manual downloaded to my phone too.

 

Just remeber to post pics in the photo thread... for us local boys to live vicariously through you guys...

 

I've googled a couple things if I've had questions. Funny thing is, it always brings me here. Just week before last I'm looking at 2 empty sea cans on my trailer thinking......surely I need more than straps.....Google brings me here and sure enough the subject has been debated. I put a chain front and back through the corner holes with a ratchet binder in the middle, threw 2 straps over in the middle and peeled. Funny thing was another guy came up to see how I did it and copied me cause he hadn't ever hauled them either. Thanks ttr for that one.

 

Yeah we get those a fair amount....pretty easy

 

I've been doing this as a career for 18 years now, and I STILL triple check ask my chains, straps, etc. And yep, I no sooner than get comfortable in bed and jump up to check the parking brake is set.
