The whole point of a child going to the elderly leaders was to make them think about the future they were leaving behind for their children and children's children.

I didn't say that. All I said was that sending a child to remind the elders that they're not the last generation and they need to plan ahead for everybody else was a good point. It's often remarked upon that boomers have been quite selfish compared to their forefathers. They take everything and leave nothing for their children. How's that for generalizing?

 

Some studies have shown CO2 levels were up to 5x higher in the past than today. Humans weren't the cause of that.
