Yes of course. Listen and believe. Listen to Rupert Murdoch's mouthpieces and believe every word they say with no skeptical mind. The far right lunatics always talking about George Soros but he's nothing compared to Murdoch. The talking heads on TV have no idea what they're talking about in regards to climate change. The science is very clear. CO2 is a greenhouse gas and the amount we spew into the atmosphere every day from burning buried carbon has nowhere to go. Plants need it for sure, but until those plants get buried in the earth that carbon will leave those plants again after they die and go right back into the atmosphere. And in case you haven't noticed we're not plants. The more CO2 rises the lower human intelligence will go.

 

Does it really matter what the world will be like in 10,000 years? Will you be around to protest?
We, in the US, should be building nuclear electric plants by the hundreds. Permitting and construction should not take more than a couple of years, not decades like now. Yucca Mountain should be reopened and used to full capacity.

 

I'm not sidestepping, I'm explaining why SOME liberals opposed the first plant even before it was built, and MORE opposed the new plant. It's like being given a choice between a chocolate chip cookie and a meringue cookie. If you can only buy one cookie, which are you going to buy? Meringue cookies are delicious, if made correctly and consumed right away. But a mid tier chocolate chip cookie is always going to be superior to any meringue cookie. It's not that liberals are against CCS or natural gas vehicles, they just think there are better choices that can be made.

Also, I say SOME and MORE because it's not ALL liberals, not by a long shot. Biden's DOE used discretionary spending to fund $1.2 Billion in DAC carbon sequestration. The Obama administration subsidized the Century CCS plant. Obama was a HUGE supporter of natural gas. In Wisconsin, Governor Jim Doyle (D) worked to incentivize the installation of CNG pumps at gas stations and the transition of government busses to natural gas- incentives that Walker (R) cut to pay for his tax cuts.

I ran into the exact same problem yesterday at subway. The two voices in my head were arguing over double chocolate chip cookies and regular chocolate chip. Finally I had to step in and say double chocolate chip..seriously, it took a minute to get it settled
