I hate it. You need to buy a container to store it once it's cut and you need scissors OR a fancy tool only useful for cutting the milk bag. Try keeping that together in a truck. The plastic jug is much much gooder.

Poutine? Im a horrible Canadian. I don't enjoy it one bit lol

I had never heard of it until a year or so ago. But it sounds like something I'd really enjoy. I'm kinda annoyed that no one in the Sarnia terminal that I worked out of for TWO YEARS, never mentioned it.

And then all those times passing that Swiss Chalet that you can see from the 401 (London? Woodstock? Can't remember), and not knowing it's a chicken place.

Now I gotta get a passport to take a food tour of Canada....

I've never heard anyone where I live in Quebec, ask for deli meat in any amount but lbs. Maybe if you wanted less than 1/2 pound you might use grams. 454 grams in a pound, btw.

Thanks lexmark. I DID know there were 454g to a pound, but thanks for the refresher.

I found that out by selling meat in a supermarket to pompous international college students who lectured me weekly on the superiority of the metric system, and how the USA better get on board with the rest of the world or get left in the dust with Liberia....

Got a question for ya, you living in Quebec, and all:

St. Hubert chicken: Is it as good as they say, and should I try it?

As the francophones say, "Prochaine sortie" .

That's about all I remember from running PQ back in the day.....:D

St Hubert is pretty good if you like rotisserie but You can get good rotisserie just about anywhere though if that's what you're looking for. I prefer my chicken fried but it's not that popular here.

Also, if ya hear anybody say "Poutine" try to get 'em to drop the "e". It's more like "poo-tin" than "poo-teen"

The other thing about the metric system here is most people I know use feet/inches.

    Well if you're buying plywood "4 x 8" sounds a lot cooler than "121.92 x 243.84"
