Every truck stop I go to, everyone is complaining about the rates. I'm doing quite well, making out at over $2 a mile got me a dry van right now on 3000 weekly miles give or take. Dispatcher said he can get me 2.40 with a reefer.Every truck stop I go to folks are saying they're driving for a buck forty buck fifty a mile.Is it true that rates are that bad for some of yall and my dispatch just doing good work?

Of course, you're the only guy in America banking $2.00 a mile with a dry van, you better be thanking your lucky stars or else the $1.50 a mile bug is gonna bite you in the arse.

If you could, why don't you screen shot a week's worth of miles at 3k and show that $6,000 gross.

    That would be super impressive!

You said you're getting $2.00 a mile dry van and average 3k miles a week.

Just post up overlapping weeks showing 6 grand a week revenue.

The only guy I know doing that here is @Dave_in_AZ and he's a super hero Landstar guy :)

My dispatch used to be a broker and now he gets loads from direct shippers and other brokers hes worked with for a while and sometimes uses the load board if im in a dead area.I asked him too he said the market was very bad right now for most guys and i should be happy that im going for these rates.

Forgot to say I drive for myself. Just me myself and I. I need a week's vacation if I drove 3k miles in a work week these days LOL

It’s possible to get to 2.00 per mile on the west coast, but it’s not all the time but in the end it could average out.
