I haul a lot for UBER and yes, with the exception of not being able to make offers I feel they have the best app out there. Everything is transparent, shippers, receivers and reviews on both.

They have a lot of crap rates, but if you watch it you can get some good to great rates also and they adjust the rates often.

I'm on my second backhaul for them right now. I see them as a mirror of Convoy. Sometimes they'll have a load from an area that convoy doesn't. And just like Convoy you have to check back frequently to find a gem among all of the crap. As somebody else said, they do show the shipper and receiver on their app before you book the load, so you can see what kind of crap you'll be hauling.

Extremely rare. I have a request on my Convoy and Uber apps for freight from Spokane to Sacramento with a 300 mile radius on both ends, and there are never any loads. The closest I've seen are loads out of Nampa ID down to Reno. DAT will occasionally have something but usually at around $1 per mile. For a few weeks I was subcontracting for another carrier hauling apples from eastern Washington down to Sacramento and the bay area. Those loads paid almost $4 per mile and when they ended I tried to call some of the brokers and receivers but everybody is locked in and won't let newcomers in to haul for them.

For some reason it didnt click I always think of them as JBHZ. Yep I've seen them with their trucks at every Amazon DC. Doubtful that Amazon is so stupid to be paying them $4 a mile on anything longer than 30 or 40 miles though. Why would they? They dont have to and can get trucks easily. Amazon is not uninformed about the markets. It's consistent van freight, light loads, drop and hook - the kind of freight that gets drivers home consistently and drivers like it - no way JB is making that kind of money on it that type of freight it is just too competitive and nothing special about it at all.

I rather that 1.50 Onion Load from Yakima 6 days to Boston. 6 days of carefree driving. None of that multi stop hooey. The Market will be bad enough when we get into it.

$1.50 mile. Probably 2950 paymiles call it 3 just to be simple.

Fuel 450 gallons give or take 7 miles to gallon plus 100 for reefer just for safety sake. (3.00 gal/1500 fuel)

So far Gross 4500 minus 1500 would be 3000. Maybe a little more.

Take away taxes for 1099 and you will still have enough for that truck note and a steak dinner besides.
