For example, in the 2nd example you mentioned, with the limited space in front of the truck, a fully shortened trailer might shift a foot laterally with every pull up, where a stretched out trailer might only move inches.expedite_it Thanks this. -

in the first place if you already know? And no, the rear of the trailer will not move any further or faster than the the front of the trailer since, you know, it's all one piece. -
