Why is it better to have the tandems slid forward when alleydocking?

Not sure how this happened, a friend of mine sent it from Missoula yesterday. But I suspect tail swing one way or the other was a major factor.
The dock they were trying to get into, couldn’t be simpler.

I don't understand why so many people bother to write these posts saying things like the following:
"I just read through 50 posts on this thread. I don't see why people make this sound so complicated. Just back the trailer in to the loading dock."
"Why do you make this sound so hard? This is simple."
"I learned this stuff in my first week. Why are you wasting everyone's time with this?"

To people who say things like in the three quotes I wrote above, here is my question for you: WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU DOING ON THIS THREAD? YOU KNEW WHAT THIS THREAD IS ABOUT BEFORE YOU CLICKED ON IT. DON'T YOU HAVE ANYTHING BETTER TO DO?
